A great place for young kids, tweens, teens and even adults to learn fencing or other types of sword fighting.  They also have an excellent martial arts class for teens that is very different... mostly self defense and anti-bullying.  My kids have both had birthday parties there and LOVE their summer camps.  I just wish they had more locations... my sister lives in western massachusetts and wants to bring her sons.  But as soon as he is old enough, he can go to their summer camp in central massachusetts.  You can call them up: (781) 270-4800 or go to their website.  Tell them that "Mama Momster" sent you!

This is an excellent program for kids and adults of any age. I have a ten year old son who loves the ACE adventure class as do so many other kids ranging in age from six to eighteen. If your child is even remotely interested in Star Wars then they will be over the moon for Guard Up. They have buddy nights where your child can bring a friend and play a variety of sword fighting themes - one being Star Wars. The ACE class swords are padded and safe and come in a variety of colors that can be purchased right at Guard Up. Check out their website at GuardUp.com - its definitely worth a look. If they don't have a program that is a perfect fit for your child, they will do their absolute best to create one because they are passionate about their customers and about being able to offer their great classes to everyone. Check them out at their website or call (781) 270-4800.
