Every Kansas City summer offers up a full menu of baseball goodies. For the unique major league experience we have the hometown Royals. And I highly recommend at least 1 if not more games a season.

For a more relaxed, and carnivalesque experience, my family prefers the Kansas City T-Bones. Nestled in the cozy confines of Community America Ballpark, seating capacity 4,365 fixed seats, the T-Bones bring America's favorite pasttime into the realm of true fun.

Every night can be a different theme altogether and the between-innings entertainment never fails to amuse. For example, one sultry evening last year, the entire viewing audience was treated to "the greatest Elvis impersonator" on the premises. Don't be cruel.

Tickets are reasonable. Parking is free. Concessions are fair. And the general admission grassy knolls divy up some of the best foul ball opportunities around. (Sometimes I still feel the sting of the one that "bounced" off my hand 2 years ago). Kids have a great time simply roaming around, talking to players, securing autographs, and doing stuff at a ballgame that was commonplace in major league parks back in the day.

The entire Village West area surrounding the Kansas Speedway, where the T-Bones ballpark is located, introduces countless ways to eat, dance, lodge, and make a night of it. Our recommendations are high.

So go out and enjoy the T-Bones this Summer. It's guaranteed tasty fun for the entire family.
