You may remember reading the Hints from Heloise column in your local paper.  She's still around and is still a great resource for tips and tricks.  She's even updated a lot of her old tips for modern day conveniences.

I love her stain removal tips.  Tricky stuff, like getting candle wax off of a rug, or ballpoint pen out of a shirt.  Or, for more modern tips, things like getting rid of that burnt popcorn smell in your microwave, or how to salvage your cell phone if you drop it in the toilet. 

 This is a really good one to bookmark - as you never know when you'll need a helpful hint.....
