This is a wonderful article written by a medical journalist (and reviewed by a doctor) that discusses the six most important foods for women and how many times per week we should eat them. It's a good list to keep in mind- and easy to commit to memory!
Melanie W. Mar 5, 2008 I use Kefir to make fruit smoothies. It's cultured yogurt that's not as thick, more liquid. I take 1 cup of Kefir (plain), 1/2 c. of frozen or fresh berries, 1 tsp. organic sugar, 1-2 Tbsp. organic flax oil, and several ice cubes. Makes a great breakfast paired with a whole wheat English muffin.
Ricosgirl Mar 4, 2008 We are the first to put ourselves aside for others. Thanks for thinking of us!
GeekyMama Feb 27, 2008 I like how they say to skip the flavored yogurt varieties. I see high fructose corn syrup on the label and I actually feel a little guilty for eating yogurt. Time to buy the plain stuff and mix in my own fruit.
