Evite has been pretty much the only game in town for a while now. But the Wall Street Journal just reviewed mypunchbowl.com as a competent competitor.

It does have fewer ads and actually allows you to see the party details before logging in - a big plus in my mind! But no matter what, both are great for sending email invites, keeping track of rsvps, and having a bit of a party before the party!
