You may scoff but it's really not disgusting!

There is nothing like the smell and taste of fresh coffee on the fire!

We use a metal camp coffee pot with lid that you can buy in the camping section of Wal-Mart or Target, or your favorite camping store. It sits right on a small grill over the fire pit.

First, you'll need to buy brand new knee-high nylons - at least one for each day you'll be camping. Wash them, dry them, and pack them. Please don't use worn nylons (eew).

• Put your coffee grounds in the nylon
• Tie a knot at the top
• Hang it in the pot with the knot outside and add water
• Put the lid on, which helps keep the nylon in place
• Place on the fire
• When the coffee is ready, toss the nylon filter away!

PS: I probably don't need to mention it, but please don't purchase fishnet stockings :)
