A friend of mine takes amazing photos; he took our family's picture for Christmas this year, and he made us look great! His unique, creative candids were so much better than the kind you see taken by department stores, etc., and he is very reasonably priced (and lets you keep the photos, rather than claiming exclusive negatives for himself)!  I would highly recommend him even if I didn't think he were such a great guy. He also does neat wedding photos and such.
