Think the foreign film section is too highbrow for kids?  Think again.  The author of this Boston Globe article chronicles the foreign films his daughters have watched with him.

If your kids like "High School Musical", then try "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" with Catherine Deneuve. If they like princess movies, try "Beauty and the Beast" ("La Belle et la Bête"). In the writer's home, Japan's "Good Morning" was in heavy rotation for months.

Adult discretion is advised with some of these films. In other words, it might be wise to save Fellini for when they're older.
