This is a great activity for kids to try or for anybody that is starting a garden. We took an empty egg carton. We made eggs for breakfast. Saved the egg shells. We rinsed out the egg shells drew faces on them. You can even write on them. Put potting soil. in and added seeds of our choice. The plants sprouted giving the appearence of hair on our egg faces. We used the egg carton to rest the egg shells in while waiting for the hair to grow. When the plant is big enough you plant the hole egg shell into the garden. The egg shell will and nutients to the soil and break down. We planted bean sprouts in one cant wait to see its hair.
