We recently discovered Peep and the Big Wide World on The Learning Channel, and both me and my daughter enjoy it a lot. It’s an animated show where Peep, a baby chick, and his friends Quack and Chirp, a baby duck and bird, make discoveries about science in the park where they live. The concepts are simple enough for young children to understand and cover topics like space, distance, gravity, and nature. Plus, on their website, you can view a new daily episode for free, as well as play some fun games.  Episodes also air on the Discovery Channel.
