We used to play this when I was a kid, but I totally forgot about it until I picked up this Uno Deluxe Version at TJ Maxx the other day.  It's really a lot of fun!  I wasn't sure how it would go over, but my 6 & 4 year old picked up on the game right away and we've been choosing it for familyl game night several times in a row now. 

The goal of the game is to get rid of all of your cards.  When you have one card left you yell UNO! Then others try to stop you from going out with different cards.  It's easy even for young kids as the game is based on colors and numbers with a few wild cards mixed in. 

Such a simple game but very fun and portable to boot!  I like this deluxe version because it comes in a sturdy box that folds up for storage and it has a score sheet pad for die hard players.  This would be great to bring on a vacation or a camping trip or just to have on hand if you are stuck in a waiting room or something.  I got mine for about 5 bucks at TJ Maxx, and they have it for the same at Amazon right now.
