Many women's health experts believe that mammography centers should have data about compaints, violations and errors made public, but the Department of Health does not publish this information. Okay so now that I know that my center has complaints and violations, How do I find out more, like what were the violations, what's the difference between level 1 and level 2 violations. what was the complaint about? It could be many things... And what IS CAD?
Yikes, when I looked at the two hospitals I use they both had violations. I truly believe in healthcare we need to be very proactive with our healthcare. I've been having issues for many years with this topic and took loads of research and EDUCATION to get the testing I wanted.
ASK for a Mammogram with CAD! If they don't do it, find a different imaging center. I love the Breast Health Center at Elliot Hospital in Manchester NH - I drive an hour to get there, but they rock ( I was just there yesterday!!)
