If you live in the Greater Boston Area - essentially within and around Route 128 - and are raising Jewish children under age six, there's a great, relatively new resource available. The PJ Library - which is administered locally out of the Jewish Community Centers in Newton Center - will mail your under six year old one book a month. The books are all brand new, relate to some aspect of Judaism (sp?), and are usually time appropriate - i.e., the book in April related to Passover. Good for reading on those summer days when it’s too hot to go the park! To sign up or for more information go to www.pjlibrary.org - under communities click on "Greater Boston."
