When we wanted to celebrate a family occasion, we chose Benihana, and what a HIT it was with the kids! At Benihana, the preparation of the food is done right in front of you, with a show that will delight the young ones. The food is good, not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination, but what a great experience....our three year old was wide-eyed as the chef flipped shrimp through the air, made a volcano out of onions, fashioned a beating heart out of fried rice (no joke) and made a great racket with his knives and metal spatula. The hibachi steak, chicken and shrimp are all crowd-pleasers, and the fun-factor is off the charts!
