An idea is to go vegan! A vegan is a person who doesn’t eat meat. So yes, they are vegetarians but it goes a step further. Vegans also do not eat any animal product such as milk, eggs and even honey. They don’t/cant eat anything with animal products in it so many things have to be altered. Some Perks Are: • Healthier: 0 cholesterol diet (Help prevent heart disease). • Keeps you regular! • Feel healthier, no bloating after meals. • Some people have lost weight after switching. For a vegan the chef has to substitute milk for soymilk, butter for soy butter and soy yogurt as an egg substitute. It will have a slightly different taste however be much healthier. 1 tablespoon of soy yogurt = 1 egg. You may want to try switching some food and see if you kids notice or even like it better.
