Professor Tim Barchard is a 6th Degree Black Belt and owner of Professional Martial Arts Academy in Derry, NH has been in business since 1994.  There are many martial arts schools in the Derry area but only Tim's school has such a variety of classes to fit any schedule.  Featuring over 90 classes per week in Kempo Karate, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Renzo Gracie Affiliated School), & Muay Thai Kickboxing.  If you can't find a class to go to I'm not sure what the problem is.

My son has been going for 3 years now and is testing for his 2nd Degree Brown Belt.  It's not all about martial arts at PMA, there is a focus on respect and life skills.  Respect not only to your sensei but respect to your parents, teachers, friends, & others.  Skills which will help you in life beyond martial arts is essential to any program and I believe PMA does a great job of this.

There are "Parents Night Out" events scheduled every month so you can drop your children off and have some alone time with your spouse.  The kids love the PNO events and they have a variety of themes from Disco Dance Party, pizza, and movie nights.   Lots of games keep the kids occupied and it's a great time for all.

Students come far and wide to go to PMA.  Students from not only Derry and Londonderry, but Salem, Pelham, Goffstown, Nashua, Chester, & more all come to one of the top ranked schools in the country.
