Yesterday, I met a fascinating man who works as an organic farmer at a local farm. The farm, Land's Sake, in Weston, MA does not just produce delicious, organic local produce. It is also dedicated to educating local youth about the importance of protecting our environment and the role that organic farming plays in that quest. Beginning late June, berry picking is offered at the farm. And all through the summer, camps are offered that promise to educate as well as provide plenty of fun. I plan to take my kids and thought other Boston parents would be interested to hear about this great farm.
