Did you know that every Monday in July, kids are admitted for free into the Museum at Mystic Seaport in CT?!  The Children's admission price is usually $13 each!  The Mystic Seaport Kids' Free Monday Offer is valid only on July 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2008. Limit 4 children (6-17) per paying adult. Adult admission price is $18.50.  With nearly 20 acres of fun things to see and do, Mystic Seaport lets kids be kids - running, jumping, exploring and having fun.  You can take a ride on one of the boats (some are free! but larger boats are about $5 per person)  And when you're hungry, the Galley Restaurant has a menu full of kids' favorites too so lunchtime won't be a headache!  They even have Junior Sleuth Days in June, July & August, a free scavenger hunt offered daily that teaches kids about the Museum's boats, buildings and more. They also have Hands-On History interactive workshops ($5-$10) that let kids and parents work together while creating unique maritime keepsakes, like boats, candles and more.   Some of the offerings for younger kids include:
