I've recently needed to take part in the Safe and Well list through the American Red Cross. It's a listing of people that register with the American Red Cross to alert loved ones that they are safely out of harms way or to search for a loved one you are hoping is out of harms way for a variety of reasons. This is a very important feature that has helped many people since it's creation.
