This is a great article from Time.com. The article lists 9 foods that kids should avoid eating. This really shows the importance of why we should know how to read food labels. For example, the Kid Cuisine All Star Chicken Breast Nuggets claims to be a good source of five vitamins and minerals, yet the sodium content is almost 200 mg more than the recommended amount for a meal.

Aug 21, 2008 This is great info, and something that I didn't know....my daughters have just had to go on a low cholesterol, low fat, low sugar diet (because high cholesterol runs in the family) and some of the things I always thought was GOOD for them was hurting them more than anything!! Thanks for the tip!
