The beaches of Gulf of Mexico in the Tampa Bay area offer a popular tourist attraction, Parasailing. Prices range from $59.00 to $79.00, depending on how high you want to go up, up, up. The boat ride last approximately 1 hour while the experience in the air last about 10 minutes.  I chose to take the "flight deck" ride with my daughter. We sat side by side in a double harness and took off and landed on the back of the boat a few miles out away from the shore in the Gulf. Parasailing combines fear and excitement and will be an unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience that provides breathtaking views. I recommend it for children over 16 years of age and all adults who seek adventure.
