This article in the New York Times talks about meal-time strategies that parents can use to get their picky eaters to eat more healthfully. Let’s face it, all kids are picky eaters in some way or another, and I liked some of these ideas. One of the “mistakes” was serving boring vegetables, which I do, but nutritionists suggest dressing up vegetables a bit to make them more interesting to kids. The extra calories are worth it if it encourages kids to eat their vegetables.
