Instead of purchasing vinyl or plastic shower curtains that may emit chemicals and are non-biodegradable, purchase shower curtain made with hemp.  Help curtains do get wet, but they won’t let the wetness out of your shower or bath.  They dry quickly and have a natural resistance to mold.  You can also wash hemp shower curtains.
