| +4 | Neat Slideshows Using the Web Browser |
During my internet explorations, I came across two interesting free programs. One is CoolIris which allows your browser to view internet sites as a 3D wall for content search. The program is actually a plugin for the browser and according to the website works with Firefox (Windows and Mac), Internet Explorer (Windows), and Safari (Mac) browsers. This plugin is required for viewing the created slideshow. The other program is PicLens Publisher by the same company. What this program does is make the creation of the slide show easy. Creating the slide show is simply gathering the images on the computer via the adding images command and then exporting the folder to a location on the computer. That is all there is to creating what is necessary for the slide show. Once exported, use the browser to load the images and then start the show. The advancement through the images is not automatic; but, via a slider at the bottom of the screen. What is generated is a 3D wall of images for one to peruse at one's leisure. Comments
