 One of my girlfriends recently introduced me to this magazine. It’s a literary magazine devoted to motherhood, with essays and articles by well-known authors on all kinds of mothering and parenting topics. It’s very different from all the other parenting magazines I’ve read, with more substance and less fluff. Comments

Brain, Child is a good mag. Another mother focused literary journal is MotherVerse Magazine ( http://www.motherverse.com ), which has been around for since 2005 and has a print and digital version, workshops, as well as an ongoing mother-lit blog. They are similar in theme to Brain, Child but they have a more global feel. Plus they publish poetry as well, a literary category Brain, Child doesn't.
In print, there is also Mom Writer's Literary Magazine.
