The Center for Families is a wonderful resource for all families living in Cambridge, MA. First of all, their services are all FREE. They run drop-in weekly playgroups at various locations around town, with a comfortable, safe place to play, lots of great toys, snacks, and songs. I looked forward to these every week; even when my baby was too young to appreciate them, I appreciated the company! These are a great way to meet other moms and dads with children at your stage in your own neighborhood, and they are especially helpful when you need an indoor place to go on a cold winter's day! They also offer occasional workshops on parenting strategies or issues, mom's and dad's groups, parent-child yoga sessions, and even infant massage. Check them out!
